my scifi series idea:

mankind is sending the first spaceship to exoplanet one.
season 1 is about the voyage.
starting with episode 4 they deliver non human signals.

they travel faster than light, because they feed space with the information that they already have been there.

Episode 1-2 is as usual about bringing all the characters in.
Episode 3 is completely positive, they all enjoy how good everything is working.
Episode 4 the flood of signals causes lot of tension
Episode 5 all engines stop! looks like feeding space with wrong information has effect on some members.
Episode 6 Drifting. Real pessimistic situation. Only required systems run.
Episode 7 The Asshole is fixing the problem and isdemanding
